Waikiki Shell

Waikiki Shell is an amazing concert venue in stunning surroundings. Picture Diamond Head rising over the horizon with Waikiki Beach just across the way.

The architecture of the Waikiki Shell reflects the Polynesian cultural roots of Oahu. Shaped like an elegant seashell, the site offers excellent outdoor acoustics blended with a laid-back atmosphere. Seats are available near the stage, but often concert goers like to spread a blanket on the grass and soak up the music under the sun or stars.

Located on Monsarrat Avenue on the Diamond Head (east) end of Waikiki, the Shell has hosted a variety of musical performances, from traditional Hawaiian performers to hard-rock bands (I’ve seen Willie Nelson and Incubus there!).
