Waikiki Adventure

Spending your entire Waikiki vacation sunbathing on the beach is a viable option for many, but for others, a little more excitement is in order. Maybe you missed out on the Air Force Thunderbirds buzzing Waikiki, but you can have your own adventure, on land, by sea, or in the air.

Skydiving. There’s no better place to skydive than Oahu. With amazing tropical weather year round, the jump from an airplane is sure to render some amazing views – all the way from 12,000 feet up. No prior experience is necessary – guides take you out with a parachute firmly attached to the both of you. Within minutes, you’ll be back on the ground with new, exciting memories of flying through the sky.

Water Thrills. Tired of plain boating or shore fishing? Did someone say swimming with sharks? Well, it’s not as crazy an idea as one might imagine. Shark encounters – led by a professional guide – have become a popular activity. Close encounters are provided via a shark cage – one that contains you, not the shark. Feeling a little less intrepid? Parasailing is a great thrill, one that takes you up into the sky while firmly tethered to the ground – or, more likely, a boat.
