Happy Thanksgiving!
Here goes my first posts. If you’re in Waikiki on Thanksgiving, then you should definitely check out the Honolulu Marathon’s Clinic – Turkey Trot. In this race the fastest racer doesn’t win but the racer that finishes closest to their estimated race time triumphs. This is a cool and unique tradition on Oahu and at just at $3 for the entry fee, why not? Great prizes will be awarded to winners as well as random drawings for all runners.
Here are the details:
- 10-mile run
- Registration is at Kapiolani Park Bandstand at 6:30 am, Thursday November, 27th and the run begins as soon as all are registered, so participants are warned to arrive early.
- Entry fee is $3
- No watches, headphones, or pacing devices are allowed.
Visit honolulumarathonclinic.org/turkey-trot for full details.

Aloha Ruth,
I’m told about 4,000 runners participate each year. Not sure where to find past race results, but the race’s official site may have that info: http://honolulumarathonclinic.org/turkey-trot/

2:10 minutes is that relative to others?
I will be coming from the North – Vancouver Canada
And finishing a season of Half Marathons
Are there any runners going it alone and want company?

Hi. I was just wondering the average number of runners that participate each year. Also, is there a website with past race results?
